As a girl, lace front wigs were not forever my personal obsession. Art was the only thing I cared about. This applied till the day when my hair wouldn’t be the same due to medical hair loss. I resolved that I couldn’t sign off on the chance of appearing on TV as a thin-haired Mr. Clean by sheer dumb luck.

Personally, this meant life would be more challenging, robbed of beautiful hair. I felt like that it would be impossble to regain wonderful style. Buddy, how wrong. Before I got wise and bought my favorite real wig, I attempted a number of ridiculous unnatural hair extensions that made me uncomfortable. My lover Jim found me respectable, medical wig websites that carried lace front wigs that would feel great.

Then I hopped to it and checked it out. I found an inventory of glorious, dignified real human hair wigs. Their specially designed invisible lace wigs made me so happy!

Provided the perfect wig, a proud individual in my situation should grow courage while admitting to her alopecia. Never have I been so inspired to parade my new hats. This meant the world to me to sassily go about as I used to at the mall.

But maybe I could be exaggerating things, but remember looks are important to my identity. Is it possible there’s further to life than a great head of hair? Girl, it wouldn’t be right if that were so. Lace Front wigs look so good!

You would not believe what this has been like. Very few believe the reality of me and alopecia. Anyhow that’s life, I’m simply prepared to look fabulous for my husband again. Having hair again improved things for my attitude on life.

Judgmental people could feel that method needy. They have no idea. How is living so fantastic? Speaking for myself, the secret is love and my new wigs.

Care for Your Wig!

Whether you’re deciding on your profession as you start your career, or looking for a new direction in an economy that has cut back in many areas, you might consider looking at the health care field. If you’re looking to get started in a health care career in Columbus, you can find schools and training centers in the heart of the city, or turn to the Internet to track down web resources and other classroom opportunities.

One area to explore as you are making your decision is a certified nursing assistant course. Certified nursing assistants handle health care needs under the supervision of nurses in hospitals, medical centers, long-term health care facilities, rehabilitation clinics and doctor’s offices. They provide basic care and services to patients, including feeding and bathing. They must also be able to lift and move individuals, have good people and communication skills and the ability to tolerate and work with patients who often cannot care for or control themselves. A certified nursing assistant course can take several months to complete, and it’s followed by a certification exam.

Another health care position to consider is that of an ultrasound technician. An ultrasound technician is a skilled specialist who uses a special device that bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body. Those waves form a reflected image that can be photographed, videotaped or transmitted in order to help a physician make a decision on diagnosis and treatment. An ultrasound technician has to be able to translate complex images, must have a good ability to recognize differences and details and must also be able to describe the findings to physicians. It can take from 18 months to two years to get an associate’s degree as an ultrasound tech, and even more than that if you specialize in a certain area. Specialists in ultrasound can be trained in images of the brain, heart, abdomen, reproductive system, kidney, spleen, pancreas and eyes. But the longer course of study can be worth it, as an ultrasound technician’s salary can be well over $50,000 a year.

Ms Beckham later came out with a high fashion range of awesome tailored outfits, very much in the spirit that she dresses herself in.

Surprisingly next up is Liam Gallaher, best known from Oasis, the singer quoted that he wants to launch a gents clothing collection targeted at the mass market. Mr Gallagher is getting together a range of mens clothes that Mr Gallagher feels he would enjoy wearing. So expect duffel coats, baggy trousers and stained jumpers.

I have been seeing the word podcasting floating around the Internet for a while. And actually read an article that stated it’s arrival. However, it never really gave me any information about Podcasting. And yes, my curiosity got the better of me. I decided it was time to find out more about podcasting, and learn the what and howand if it could help my business. And, most importantly, how much I would have to spend to partake in this new technology.

What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is simply a web blog that is in an audio format. And the audio portion is presented by way of an MP3 file. In essence, it is your own radio broadcast, relating to anything you want. The transmission of the podcast is through an RSS (Real Simple Syndication) technology.

How Can I Use It In My Business?

How Can I Use It In My Business? To me, that is the most important question to answer. Why get the technology if it is not going to be of any use to you. Right? Well, I feel that it can be of use to any business. For example: let’s say that your site is based around a niche market, say cats. You could base your podcast on your niche market, supplying them information and tips about cats, with an audio, and then tell them to follow up to your website or blog, for that matter, for additional information.

What can audio do for your business? It puts a voice behind the website, and makes you a real person. And, by also supplying the same information, with follow-up material in your blog, you have made a connection. You are now a real person, with a real voice, and not a faade.

Where can I get a Podcast?

If you’re new to podcasting, know very little about it, and you don’t want to spend very much - if anything — to experiment with this new product, (like myself), than I would suggest getting the ebook by Jeff Mills. He gives you everything you need to know - as well as, getting you up and running. If you want to take a look at what he has offers go to my site at: www.myaffiliateplace.biz/Affiliate_Ebooks_Mills.htm. Or, if you have time on your hands, you can do your own research in this area.

To conclude, it’s always good to be open to new technology when it comes onboard the Internet, and to see if it can work for you and your website. Sometimes it won’t, but other times, it may be what you need.

And remember, people have their own internal comfort zone to retrieving data for themselves. Some like ebooks, while others prefers books. Some like to read, and others like to listen. So you see, if you can give your visitors the best of both worlds, you have a better chance of making them a customer and/or a return visitor.

Wristwatches - History

June 6th, 2009

From pocket watch to a fashion accessory. What was once, in the earliest years of portable watches, considered to be unsuitable for men and only for women, has grown nowadays into a fashion utensil that everybody has. In the meantime, the wristwatch is no longer just a tool to tell which time it is. It is a designer piece and can indicate much more than the time.

A great deal of mechanics in a small housing

The first confirmable portable timepiece was built in 1500. This was not a wrist watch, but more of a pocket watch. Through technical advancement, which made it possible for people to house mechanics in an increasingly smaller space, the required components of the clockworks were able to be brought into a manageable form. In this way, the first pocket watch was born, which at the time was still the size of an egg.

The computerized wristwatch from Japan

A entirely different watch came onto the market in the 1970’s from Japan, which had developed its own watch industry. The new wrist watch from Japan was no longer set on a mechanical basis, but on a computerized control. This watch expanded its range of capacity quickly. The wrist watch no more just showed the time. The tiny timepiece on the wrist now also knew the date, the day of the week and even knew whether a leap year was involved.

The wristwatch as jewelry

Nowadays, the wrist watch is no longer just a watch. The wristwatch has become a fashion accessory. Wristwatches come in all colours and shapes thinkable. One can also purchase compatible watches from all fashion collection. The current watches are dominated by the correct fashion trends. Despite these different styles, there is something for every taste. The tiny watches, which need spectacles to tell the time, and the extravagant giant watches, which make it hard to walk upright. Anyway, one thing is certain: science is still likely to make so much progress - that the wristwatch will be seen on the wrists of people for a long time, to respond to the question as to what time it is.

One of the problems many podcast producers fall into is how to record a podcast when your co-host or interview subject lives in another state or province.

Since having that person fly or drive to your location is silly, there are many cost-effective ways to record individuals for your podcast and still get a broadcast quality sound.

Since I’m the only host for my podcast called Cubicle Divas, when I need to record an interview to include in my podcast, I use a service called Audio Acrobat. For a small monthly fee, I call the person I need to interivew, and then call the Audio Acrobat number using my three-way calling feature on my phone.

If you’re looking for a no-fee option, Jason Van Orden has a solution for the more frugally-minded podcaster. Van Orden co-hosts a podcast called Internet Business Mastery with another person in another state. He has a simple strategy for recording both of their voices at the same time that doesn’t cost a dime.

“We call each other on Skype or Google Talk so we can hear each other. We each have the same outline in front of us, which clearly indicates who is doing what. We each have a recording software open on our computers and press record at the same time (someone counts off),” says Van Orden.

“My co-host uploads the audio file to his site and I download it. Then I put the two audio files together and sync them. It sounds like we’re in the same room. This technique is often called a ‘double-ender’,” says Van Orden.

Paige Eissinger, who co-hosts a podcast called Views from the Coop, also uses Skype, but she uses a different technique than that of Van Orden.

“I use Skype and HotRecorder to create the podcasts I do with my co-host who lives in another state. HotRecorder is a very inexpensive program available online for download. Either party (or both) can record the conversation directly to their own computers with HotRecorder,” says Eissinger.

According to Eissinger, there is an additional benefit to using Hot Recorder to record your interviews.

“HotRecorder saves the file in the HotRecorder format, but a companion program called HotConverter comes with it that allows you to convert to a wav or ogg vorbis format. Once you’ve converted the file, you can open your conversation in your favorite audio editing program and edit away. The cool thing about it is that it records each voice of the conversation on a different track so you can edit them individually,” says Eissinger.

Podcating guru Penny Haynes, who produces 3 podcasts and is also the founder of the International Podcasting Expo, shares her own technique for recording interviews so she can get a broadcast quality sounding audio.

“I have interviewees download a free version of a program called RecordPad and give them my FTP information to insert into the Options section,” says Haynes.

“When they finish recording, the mp3 file is automatically uploaded to my server, so I can mix the two files as if they were with me when I recorded.”

For less technical interviewees and co-hosts who may be all thumbs when it comes to FTP programs and recording software, Donna Papacosta, who produces a podcast called Trafcom News Podcast, suggests getting recording equipment that connects into your phone.

“For remote guests, I use a Telecom Audio VoicePort hooked up to my phone and my Edirol R-1. The person on the other end doesn’t have to do anything other than talk,” says Papacosta.

As a first-time podcast producer, Danielle Culter used a tool called Gizmo Project to record her first podcast with her co-host who lives in another state.

“Quality isn’t too bad, and can be fixed up when you edit. My co-host spoke rather softly, so you can notice a difference in the levels there (or maybe I’m just a loudmouth), but overall I was pretty happy with the results,” says Culter.

Warren Contreras, a podcast enthusiast, agrees that the Gizmo Project tool can be effective at recording multiple voices in multiple locations.

“For multiple remote participants you might have a look at Gizmo Project. Conference calling is included as well as a one click record button,” says Contreras.

With all the satellite radio users out there and all the radio waves coming in perhaps we should use this as a background pattern like a radar grid. Thus if there is a disruption passing thru like an airliner, well we have a back up system in case our radar systems go down.

If there is an unidentified flying object, which shows up as a disruption anomaly with this field in an area, which is not a known flight path trajectory for airlines or military then we should start tracking it; because it could indeed be a threat to our national security.

Additionally using anomalies from several sources such as data coming back from high-tech weather satellites, Department of Defense radar systems and commercial satellite assets. No sense in launching an ICBM anti-missile at a meteorite coming in and burning up in the atmosphere or a piece of space junk falling out of low-orbit.

We need to have multiple data sets to determine exactly what something is, exactly how fast it is traveling and exactly what threat it could potentially be. By having more data, along with our top of the line super computers, we also can increase our kill rate chances of shooting down any potential threat. So I hope you will consider all this in 2006.

Printing color catalogs takes a lot of time and forethought. Because catalogs are an important investment you must carefully plan and print then to ensure you reap the full benefits. To help you I have created a short list of thing to avoid when printing catalogs.

Materials

First you must decide on your budget. What are you willing to spend on your full color catalogs? This will give you a good estimation on what materials you will have to choose from. Printers offer lots of options on the materials. Paper weight, finishing touches, sizes, all which portray your business and your product. If you skimp and get the cheapest, this is what people will see. If you go high end materials, well, it will eat up your profits. Work with a budget and shop around.

Call to Action

Remember to help the reader, on every page, know how to make the purchases. Call, email, mail in, or visit the store, this should be set on each page so the consumer doesn’t have to search the catalog. Make it as easy as possible for the reader. The more work they have to put into the purchase the less likely they are to make the purchase. Also, the phone number should be visible at all times, either for questions or purchases.

Intelius’ CEO Naveen Jain is a visionary in the information field. Earning an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Roorkee and an MBA from St. Xavier’s School of Management, he worked at Microsoft Corporation in 1989 and expanded the forerunners of the now well known Windows NT system. He was also in charge of developing the company’s virtual MSN meant to surpass the other online web portals including America Online, and Prodigy.

Wanting to build on his success, he left Microsoft to start InfoSpace. The company’s primary focus was to sell metadata content to large web providers during the dot-com boom of the 1990s including AOL and Lycos. The company profitably expanded to providing email capabilities, advertising solutions, and message boards to their customers. After two years, in 1998, the company’s revenue peaked to an amazing 280%.

Jain left InfoSpace after founding Intelius in 2003. The security provider and intelligence company is another success story for Naveen Jain. Initial services offered by the then-fledgling company were personal and business-type screening and verification services. Consumers favored their products and services catering to background checks on suspicious neighbors and job applicants.

Jain soon added an identity protection service in the name of IDWatch to the list of products offered by his company. IDWatch proved to be so effective that he offered the service at a substantial discount to the veterans of the United States Army who were in danger of identity theft. According to consumer expert Dr. Natalie Petouhoff, Jain’s IDWatch is cost efficient and comprehensive, thereby making it the best identity theft service available. Petouhoff expressed her approval by giving Jain’s company the Pink Glove Seal of Approval.

Not only is Intellius’ an award winning company, it also has an excellent work environment. Under Naveen Jain’s leadership, the Puget Sound Business Journal chose Intelius as one of the Best Workplaces in the Washington area.
